I'm Ryan Montgomery. I've been an actor and director in the Bay Area for over 15 years. About 7 years ago I decided to pick up the camera and start shooting. In that time, I've taken many photographs of actors, artists, and theatrical productions. I've worked for companies like American Conservatory Theater, TANTA Productions, and 3 Wise Monkeys. My photography has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, SF Weekly, Theatre Bay Area Magazine and the San Francisco Bay Guardian as well as many brochures and various Web sites.

I started taking headshots and press photos a few years ago and realized I could bring my acting and directing experience to the process. Over the years I've developed a style of shooting that is both dynamic and interactive because I know what it's like to be on both sides of the camera and the audition process.
